Council has used residents’ feedback to help guide planning and spending priorities over the next five years. The draft Corporate Plan commitments are to:

- RESPONSIBLY MANAGE FINANCES: Strong governance and leadership to ensure Council lives within its means over the long term.
- SUPPORT A STRONG LOCAL ECONOMY: A thriving and diverse economy and opportunities that embrace our unique local character.
- PROVIDE WELL PLANNED LIVEABLE COMMUNITIES: Protect and improve our built and natural environments so people continue to love living here.
- STRENGTHEN RELATIONSHIPS: Council leadership will focus on integrity, collaboration and transparency to better connect with community.
